2007-04-29 - 12:52 p.m.

Early this morning my dad and I went out to check the goats and sheep because some of them are pregnant. Then we came inside, ate breakfast, and had church. When we went back outside to do our chores, we found a baby lamb!

We're not sure if she was born while we were eating or if Dad and I missed it this morning. She was already dry and steady on her legs like she'd been here awhile. Dad dipped her umbilical cord in iodine.

We've got to put up hog wire now so I'll continue this later.
