Webb gets the Hess truck every year and it is always a very good buy. It is very sturdy and it has lots of things that light up. This year it had a helicopter on it. Webb loves it, and also he loves some gadgets he got from thinkgeek.com. Will actually got a handheld RC helicopter from thinkgeek but Webb goes crazy with excitement for it. Also, go to www.wavywand.com and see another toy he adores. We all like his toys, too!] Now for as much as I can fit in one entry before I get too tired... a lot has happened. First, the secret we had for our friends at the beauty shop was that we sang songs for them and we sewed them aprons. We boys sewed on the machine and hand sewed too. It was our first time and they were beautiful and the ladies loved them. Also, we dressed up in costumes like Robin Hood and his Merry Men. Will and Spencer escorted Sarah Grace into the shop with quivers over their shoulders and shirts with hoods. Sarah had on a sparkling sequin dress that looked flowy like Maid Marian. They also used British accents. Sarah: "Men of Sherwood, why have you brought me here?" Will: "You are one of the "Ladies of Trend Setters," are you not?" Sarah: "Of course, that's why I never wear a hat!" (winks at Mrs. Pam) Spencer: "We have a special Christmas tribute for the Ladies of Trend Setters." Will: (calls out the door to James, me, George, and Richard) "Oh Merry Men!" We came in dressed in Robin Hood outfits with green tights, bows over our shoulders, brown tunics, and green hats with feathers. We bowed on one knee, took off our hats, and said, "At your service, m' Ladies." Then James stood up and sang a song we wrote that goes to the tune of James Blunt's song "You're Beautiful."
Youre Beautiful Soloist:
Youre beautiful. Youre beautiful. Yeah, they caught my eye Youre beautiful. Youre beautiful. (chorus) Youre beautiful. Youre beautiful.
It's New Year's Eve so I'm going to stop now and write more tomorrow. Dad bought me some sparkling grape juice so I can have some in one of my tiny wine glasses that Ms. Owings gave me. I'll tell you all about seeing her, too. We'll probably have communion with wine and bread tonight and bring in the New Year with worshipping the Lord together. We better start early because last year it took them forever to drop the ball and half of us were falling asleep. I wish they didn't take so long to drop the ball because I hate it when people miss things. Happy New Year!
