I forgot to tell you that my wishes came true for a sunny Thanksgiving with a blue sky. I forgot to tell you because I was so excited about our new business. You ought to go to our new website Will is making www.curdsandthewhey.com/ and click on the button "Llama Bean Tea." It is a lot of work but we broke even the first day!

Our neighbor gave us some pumpkins and Mom made up a recipe for whole wheat pumpkin muffins with cranberries and they were so good! Sometimes we make up recipes if we have stuff we need to use up like a big bag of cranberries from Sam's we got before Thanksgiving.

We also had roasted pork loin with potatoes roasted up in our great big roasting pan with thyme and garlic and onions. It was the best dinner I've had in a long time. We had it with applesauce and turnip greens.

Yesterday was very cold and we went deep in the woods and took down trees and chopped wood for the fireplace. We men came in all tired and cold and Mom and Sarah Grace had made the pork loin and the house was filled with the smell of greens and roasted thyme, garlic, and onions. It felt so homey with a big fire and football on TV. The food was delicious and the pork was tender and juicy with lots of flavor. Also, the Gators are playing in the national championship. They are our team. Good times. Good times.

Saturday was exciting too because we went to an auction to get a buck and a ram. First, we saw cows and calves but at the end of cows we saw a huge bull. It took up the whole viewing pen! Then it was horses and ponies and sheep and lambs and we bought a ram. Then they had does and kids and then our buck was the very last one. Dad had to go to the bathroom so he gave James his card to bid on the buck, but he made it back before James had to bid. A lot of people bid on him because he is so handsome. Everybody said so. We won him and got a good price. We had hotdogs with chili and relish at the auction. That was perfect for some hungry rebels.

The auction is like the warehouse in Spiderman but more like the clubhouse in Little Rascals. There are posters glued to the wooden wall. The seats were really ripped up. The auctioneer talks really fast and I couldn't understand a word he said. I bet James was glad he didn't have to bid on our buck. Our buck and ram are the best.

When we got home it was nighttime and we left the ram and buck in the trailer so we could watch the Gator game against the razorbacks and we ate turkey salad sandwiches and chocolate cake.

When the game was over, Will took the ram to the sheep and he was dragged around by the ram. The ram slammed into the fence when they cornered him to get his tag off. Will was sore the next morning.

Then Will and Spencer took the buck to the girls but he was behaved. He stared at Widget and then they started bucking each other. All the girls like him. I felt like they were giggling and trying to get his attention.
