Today I went with my dad to sell our buck. Our buck never really had a name because we kept changing it. At first his name was Jake, but then they changed it to Cialis. They changed it because they wanted him to be like Pepe le Pew. Even though they thought it was funny at first, they thought it maybe wasn't appropriate. It didn't really matter because he wasn't here long enough to call him anything. We should have named him Pepe le Pew. I like that cartoon so much because he thinks that cat is a skunk and he wants to be with her because he loves her. I love the way he holds that cat in his arms. It's like he speaks French. He says, "My darling, how good of you to wait for me." He says it with an accent. I love it when men call women my darling.

While I was with my dad, my brother fiddled around with my diary and put Johnny Caker's Journal in a yellow rectangle. It's a short, wide, rectangle.

My little brother George asked me not to call this a diary because that sounds girly so I call it a journal. George is four.

This weekend we are going to roast coffee from Ethiopia and Nicaragua. The beans start off green and they smell like some kind of vegetable I had before but I can't remember. It's on the tip of my tongue. I love coffee. For my birthday when I turned three I got a little demitasse cup from San Antonio. I had my party at Big Nose Kate's Saloon in Tombstone. I love my little cup. Sometimes I have a little bit of coffee with my dad. I love my dad. He's a great dad. I also have a Les Miserables cup from when Mom and Dad and Will and Sarah Grace and Spencer and James went to see Les Miserables. We babies had to stay at home but we got cups and t-shirts. I saw the movie but the music is different from the musical. Jean Valjean, my brother. I didn't like how that bad guy was trying to get Jean Valjean. Then the bad guy just fell in the water. That was a sad movie. Some parts your parents make you turn your head.
