Yesterday we went to the museum and we saw the Napoleon exhibit. We have been watching the Sharpe's series with Dad which is in Napoleon's time. It has real things of Napoleon's like books and an Egyptian bed that was his relative's and jewelry and clothes and all sorts of things. He also loved bees.

There was a picture of Josephine with Napoleon's sisters. Napoleon told his sisters to hold her cape but they refused. When the picture was finished, it had them holding Josephine's cape anyway. And even though his mother didn't go to the coronation, there is a painting with her sitting in the balcony!

Napoleon was nine years old when they sent him to military school. He became a great general but he wanted to take over the whole world. He was a very generous man, but he had a lot of pride.

At the end of the exhibit, we saw Napoleon's famous hat. He wore it shoulder to shoulder so everybody would know it was him on the battlefield.

When Mrs. Jeb Bush (President Bush's brother's wife) saw the exhibit, she was so very excited and thrilled by it all and she asked to hold the hat. They gave her those white gloves to hold it. When she was done, she asked if she could keep the gloves!

After we saw the Napoleon exhibit, we ate in the cafe and had hotdogs. Then we went in the rest of the museum and saw all the usual stuff.

Last night we had chicken parmesan and I loved it. We also had rice pilaf with wheat berries thrown in. It was a little crunchier but soft too, not hard but not too soft. We had it with sauteed vegetables. On a scale from 1-10, I'd give last night's supper an eleven. Yum!
